(Senior) AI Architect (all genders) in Germany-wide

• You design and develop architectures for AI-powered solutions—from data processing to model integration—whether on-premise, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments.
• You are responsible for designing and further developing our AI platforms with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• You define best practices for machine learning and AI systems and optimize existing architectures.
• You contribute your expertise in microservices architectures and ensure smooth integration into existing IT landscapes.
• You take on a leading role in projects—from consulting to implementation.
• You support teams in selecting suitable AI technologies and frameworks.

• Extensive experience in the development and architecture of AI or ML applications
• In-depth knowledge of Python and experience with common AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain)
• Strong expertise in architectural concepts, especially in cloud and on-premise environments
• Experience in developing and scaling microservices and distributed systems
• Proficient with platform technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiar with popular AI and NLP frameworks like Langchain and with AI models such as LLMs (OpenAI, LLaMA 2), bi-encoders, and cross-encoders
• Knowledge in data processing, ML operations, and automation
• Ideally, experience with AI applications in the public sector, judiciary, or public administration
• Experience in data processing and analysis with Pandas, Numpy, and Matplotlib
• Expertise in prompting, vector embeddings, and fine-tuning embedding models
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
